Bespoke Power Solution For Pharamaceutical Company

A veterinary pharmaceutical company in Northern Ireland is now the proud owner of the newly developed AJ Power HMI touch screen platform.

The site currently has three utility supplies on site along with an existing 1000kVA generating set. This project involved the supply and delivery of a new AJ2090 containerised generating set with InSight6400S synchronising controller, three LS-5 breaker control & protection modules and three G59 protection relays.

The existing generating set control panel has also been retrofitted with InSight6400S for communication between both generating set’s and LS-5’s.

The three LS-5’s, three G59 protection relays, two RP3000XT remote panels and AJ Power’s newly developed HMI touch screen platform are all housed in a floor standing enclosure which will be located in the site LV switchroom.

The two RP3000XT remote panels will allow complete control of each Genset from the LV switchroom and the HMI panel will show a complete overview of the LV Distribution infrastructure including individual breaker status and power measurements from the multiple mains and generators.

The container, housing the Mitsubishi S16R-PTA2 powered AJ2090, was designed to meet the required noise level of 85dB(A) in free field.

The container is fully bunded, and designed to accommodate double skin pipework, supplying fuel from the already existing diesel tank on site.
