We were delighted to attend a ceremony earlier this month to be awarded a prestigious King’s Award for Enterprise for International Trade at a reception hosted by Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough Council in the Palace Building Armagh.
The King’s Awards for Enterprise are the most prestigious business awards in the UK being first established in 1965 by the Late Queen Elizabeth II.
Following a welcome by the Lord Mayor of Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon, Councillor Sarah Duffy, the Lord Lieutenant for County Armagh, the Rt Hon the Earl of Caledon KCVO JP was present on behalf of His Majesty to present the award to Chairman and Managing Director Mr Ashley Pigott in the presence of Directors and staff of AJ Power.
