The AJ Power engineering team have just completed the commissioning of a 2.5MW generating set for a major telecommunications provider in Ireland.
The 9 Series DC3-AJ3125S-5M1 is powered by a MTU 20 cylinder 4000 Series engine and is designed to operate in synchronisation with the mains utility as well as providing standby power. The unit has a noise level of 65dBA at one metre (41dBA at site boundary) and AJ Power was responsible for all facets of the project from design to utility paralleling.
